These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "User", "Trader") and Skye Marketing Experts, a company duly registered in the United Arab Emirates with offices at Marasi Drive, Dubai, UAE, operating under the commercial name "Meridian Funded" ("Meridian Funded", "we", "us", "our"). By purchasing, accessing or using any of our products or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.
1. Definitions
"Services" refers to all products, websites, applications, evaluation programs, simulated trading accounts, dashboards, APIs, educational content and related services offered by Meridian Funded.
"Evaluation" or "Challenge" means the paid assessment programs (1-step or 2-step) through which we evaluate your trading discipline using simulated capital.
"Funded Account" means a simulated trading account provided to you after successful completion of an Evaluation, operated under these Terms and the associated Trader Agreement.
"Simulated Environment" means the technical infrastructure in which all trading activity occurs. No real money or third-party funds are placed on live markets as a result of your trading decisions.
"Reward" or "Payout" means a performance-based bonus paid to you, at our discretion and under these Terms, based on profits simulated on your Funded Account.
2. Nature of the Service
Meridian Funded is a technology and educational services provider. We do not operate as a broker-dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, money manager, fund, bank, or any regulated financial institution. We do not solicit deposits, hold client funds in a fiduciary capacity, execute trades on public markets on your behalf, or provide personalised investment advice.
All trading activity performed by Users takes place in a Simulated Environment using demo accounts. Market data displayed on our platforms may mirror live market quotes but no order you place results in an order being executed against real counterparties on a regulated venue by Meridian Funded on your behalf.
Rewards paid to successful Traders are not trading profits. They are performance-based bonuses paid by Meridian Funded out of its own operating revenues, subject to our sole discretion and to the satisfaction of the conditions set out in these Terms.
3. Eligibility
To use our Services, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction;
- Not be a resident, citizen or tax resident of the United States of America, of any country subject to comprehensive UN, EU, UK, US-OFAC or UAE sanctions (including but not limited to North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions), or of any other jurisdiction where the Services are restricted by applicable law;
- Not be listed on any sanctions, terrorism, or anti-money-laundering watchlist;
- Not use the Services for money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud, market manipulation or any unlawful activity;
- Provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and keep it updated;
- Not hold more than three (3) active Evaluation or Funded Accounts at any time without prior written authorisation from Meridian Funded.
We reserve the right to refuse service, suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe in good faith that you do not meet these eligibility requirements.
4. Account Registration and Security
To access our Services, you must register an account by providing a valid email address, full legal name, country of residence and, where required, government-issued identification documents for KYC (Know Your Customer) purposes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You must immediately notify us at security@meridian-funded.com of any unauthorised access, security breach, or suspicious activity. We are not liable for losses caused by your failure to secure your credentials.
One natural person may register only one (1) personal profile. Creating duplicate profiles, sharing accounts, or submitting false identity information will result in immediate termination without refund.
5. Fees, Payment and Currency
Evaluation fees are displayed on our website in Euros (€) unless otherwise stated. VAT is included where applicable under UAE and EU regulations. Payment methods accepted include major credit/debit cards, bank transfer, Apple Pay, Google Pay and selected cryptocurrencies (USDT, USDC).
Payments are processed by third-party payment service providers. Your fee is refundable under the conditions set out in our Refund Policy. Upon successful completion of an Evaluation and the payment of your first Reward, your original Evaluation fee will be refunded with that first Reward, subject to verification.
6. Evaluation Rules
All Evaluations are governed by the following rules, in addition to any specific rules published on the product page or in your dashboard:
- Profit Target Phase 1: 8% of initial account size (2-step) or 10% (1-step).
- Profit Target Phase 2: 5% of initial account size (2-step only).
- Maximum Daily Loss: 5% of starting equity of the trading day (calculated on closed and floating P&L, server time GMT+3).
- Maximum Overall Loss: 10% of initial account size (static drawdown).
- Minimum Trading Days: 4 days with at least one position opened per day.
- Maximum Time: Unlimited.
Breach of any of the above rules results in automatic failure of the Evaluation. No refund is due in such a case.
7. Prohibited Trading Practices
The following practices are strictly prohibited on Evaluation and Funded Accounts. Any detected use will result in immediate termination of the account, forfeiture of any pending Reward, and potential legal action:
- Latency arbitrage, tick-scalping, price-feed exploitation, gap exploitation or any strategy relying on technical errors in the simulated quote feed;
- Hedging across multiple accounts (including accounts held by affiliates, family members or through third-party arrangements);
- Group trading coordination designed to statistically guarantee a payout regardless of individual account outcomes;
- Use of artificial intelligence or automated tools to exploit simulated quote inaccuracies;
- Reverse-engineering of our platforms, risk engine, or quote feed;
- Any manipulative, deceptive or fraudulent conduct.
Ordinary use of Expert Advisors, algorithmic trading, copy trading and hedging within a single account remains permitted.
8. Funded Accounts and Rewards
Upon successful completion of an Evaluation, you will be invited to sign a Trader Agreement which governs the operation of your Funded Account. Rewards are calculated on simulated net profits and paid out in accordance with your selected profit-split tier (up to 90%).
Payouts may be requested in your dashboard no more than once every 14 calendar days unless a custom payout cycle has been agreed in writing. Processing time averages 72 hours but may take up to 5 business days depending on the payment method and any required verification checks.
We reserve the right to suspend, delay or withhold any Reward in the event of a suspected breach of these Terms, a pending KYC/AML review, or a legal injunction.
9. Intellectual Property
All content, software, trademarks, logos, trade names, graphics, user interfaces, proprietary algorithms and databases made available through the Services are and remain the exclusive property of Meridian Funded, Skye Marketing Experts, or our licensors. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable licence to access and use the Services strictly for the purposes contemplated by these Terms.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works based on any part of our Services without our prior written consent.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Services in any manner that could disable, overburden, damage or impair the Services;
- Upload or transmit viruses, worms, or any malicious code;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Services, accounts of other users, or any computer system connected to the Services;
- Use any automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Services without our express permission;
- Harass, threaten or defame other users or our staff, in our chat channels, support systems or on social media.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including, without limitation, Sections 9, 12, 13, 14 and 16) shall survive.
12. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
Meridian Funded makes no representation regarding your ability to profit from participation in our programs. Trading is a high-risk activity. Past performance shown in marketing materials, testimonials, or dashboards is not indicative of future results.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MERIDIAN FUNDED, SKYE MARKETING EXPERTS, THEIR AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES.
Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total Evaluation fees actually paid by you to us in the three (3) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Meridian Funded, Skye Marketing Experts and their affiliates from and against any claim, damage, loss, liability, cost or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Services, or your breach of any law or third-party rights.
15. Changes to the Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time by posting a revised version on our website. Material changes will be communicated via email to your registered address at least 14 days before they take effect, except where the change is required by law or needs to take immediate effect to protect the integrity of the Services. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the Emirate of Dubai, UAE, shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, subject to any mandatory provision of consumer protection law that may apply in your country of residence.
Before initiating any formal proceeding, the parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute through direct negotiation for a period of at least 30 calendar days following written notice of the dispute.
17. Miscellaneous
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Risk Disclaimer, Refund Policy and the Trader Agreement (where applicable), constitute the entire agreement between you and Meridian Funded.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may freely assign these Terms.
Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including acts of God, war, terrorism, strikes, internet outages, exchange or liquidity provider failures, or governmental action.
Notices. All notices to us must be sent by email to contact@meridian-funded.com, copy to our registered office address above.
Language. These Terms are drafted in English, which shall prevail over any translation.
18. Scaling Plan
Funded Accounts are eligible to our Scaling Plan, which allows account allocation to grow up to a maximum of USD 2,000,000 in simulated capital. To be eligible, a Trader must:
- Have held a Funded Account for at least four (4) consecutive months;
- Have generated a net positive return in at least three (3) of those four months;
- Have an aggregate net return of at least 10% over the four-month window;
- Have respected all drawdown and trading rules during the evaluation window;
- Have received at least one payout within the scaling window.
Eligible accounts are scaled by 100% (account doubling) up to the USD 2,000,000 cap. Scaling requests are reviewed monthly. Meridian Funded retains the right to decline scaling on a case-by-case basis, including where we identify abnormal risk behaviour even within the technical limits.
19. Affiliate Program
Our affiliate program is governed by separate Affiliate Terms available upon request at partners@meridian-funded.com. By participating, you agree not to make any misleading claim about Meridian Funded, not to use copyrighted material without permission, and not to target restricted jurisdictions in your promotional activity. Breach of the Affiliate Terms may result in forfeiture of pending commissions and termination of your affiliate account in addition to any other remedy available under these Terms.
20. Third-Party Platforms
Our Services rely on third-party platforms (MetaTrader 5, cTrader, liquidity providers, payment service providers, KYC providers). Outages, technical issues or regulatory changes affecting these third parties may impact the availability or behaviour of our Services. We will make reasonable efforts to restore service promptly but we are not liable for losses caused by third-party failures, including but not limited to platform downtime, price feed interruptions, slippage or gap events outside our control.
21. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. By accepting these Terms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy and consent to the processing of your personal data as described therein, including international transfers to the United Arab Emirates and any jurisdiction where our sub-processors operate.
22. Anti-Money Laundering and Fraud
We apply robust AML, KYC and counter-terrorism financing procedures in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 20 of 2018, FATF recommendations and the best practice of the financial services industry. We monitor transactions on a risk-based approach and may request additional documentation or information at any time. Failure to comply with such requests within a reasonable period will result in the suspension or closure of your account and the withholding of any pending Reward.
Any suspected money laundering, terrorism financing, fraud or tax evasion will be reported to the competent UAE authorities (including the FIU — Financial Intelligence Unit) and to international partners where applicable, without prior notice to the Trader concerned.
23. Communications
By using the Services, you agree to receive service-related communications from us by email, including account notifications, payout confirmations, rule updates and security alerts. These communications are not marketing and you cannot opt out while your account is active, except by closing your account.
Marketing communications (newsletters, product announcements, promotions) are sent only if you have opted in. You may withdraw your consent at any time via the unsubscribe link in each message or by emailing privacy@meridian-funded.com.
