Account

How do I create an account?

Click 'Start Challenge' from any page. You'll be redirected to our dashboard where you can create an account with your email address. A confirmation email is sent within one minute.

Can I have multiple accounts?

Yes. You may hold up to three (3) active Evaluation or Funded Accounts at any time. Above that, contact our support team to request authorisation.

What documents do I need for KYC?

A valid government-issued ID (passport, national ID card or driving licence) and a recent proof of address (utility bill or bank statement less than 3 months old).

How long does KYC take?

Most accounts are verified within 30 minutes during business hours. Complex cases can take up to 24 hours.

Can I trade anonymously?

No. Full KYC is required before any payout can be released, in line with UAE AML regulations.

Challenge

What's the difference between 1-step and 2-step?

The 2-step Evaluation has a softer 8% + 5% target across two phases. The 1-step has a single 10% target. Same drawdown and profit split on both.

Can I fail and retry?

Yes. You can purchase a new challenge at any time. We also run free retry promotions for qualifying accounts.

What happens after I pass?

You receive a Trader Agreement to sign electronically, then your Funded Account is set up within 24 hours.

Is there a time limit?

No. Both challenge types have unlimited duration. You only need 4 minimum trading days.

Do weekends count as trading days?

No, minimum trading days are calculated on market-open days (Sunday 23:00 GMT to Friday 22:00 GMT for FX).

Rules

Is there a consistency rule?

No. We have no consistency rule. Trade how you want, as long as you respect drawdown.

How is the daily drawdown calculated?

5% of the starting equity of each trading day (server time GMT+3). Includes floating P&L.

Is the overall drawdown trailing or static?

Static. It's always 10% of the initial account size, whether you're in profit or not.

Are news trading and weekend holding allowed?

Yes. Both are fully permitted on Evaluation and Funded Accounts.

Can I use Expert Advisors?

Yes. EAs, automated bots, copy trading and hedging within the same account are all allowed. Only cross-account hedging and quote-feed exploits are prohibited.

Payouts

How often can I request a payout?

Every 14 calendar days by default, or a custom cycle if agreed in writing.

How fast are payouts processed?

Our average is 72 hours from request to funds received. Crypto payouts can be same-day.

What payout methods do you support?

Bank transfer (SWIFT/SEPA), Rise, USDT / USDC on TRC-20, ERC-20 and BEP-20.

Are there fees on payouts?

Meridian Funded does not charge payout fees. Network fees on crypto withdrawals are deducted from the payout.

Is my Evaluation fee refunded?

Yes. Your original fee is refunded with your first successful payout.

Platforms

Which platforms do you support?

MetaTrader 5, cTrader and our proprietary Meridian Web Terminal.

Can I switch platforms mid-challenge?

Not on an active account. You can choose your platform at purchase, and change it on your next challenge.

Do you support mobile trading?

Yes. MT5 and cTrader have official mobile apps. Our Web Terminal is fully responsive on mobile browsers.

Is there an API?

Yes. Read-only reporting API is available on Funded Accounts. Trading via cTrader Open API is also supported.

Legal

Is Meridian Funded regulated?

We are a technology and educational services provider based in Dubai, UAE. We do not offer regulated financial services, as our activities take place in a simulated environment.

Do you accept US clients?

No. Residents and citizens of the US, as well as sanctioned jurisdictions, cannot use our Services.

Who is the legal entity behind Meridian?
